8 Reasons you should go to Czech Republic

Makeup for Humidity!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been swamped with studying and deadlines. Time for payback for all the procrastination I’ve been doing all year long. Since Summer is ALMOST here, I thought I’d write an article about the makeup you should wear while vacationing somewhere humid.

1) Sunblock: I can’t say this enough. Yes a little sun is useful for activation of Vitamin D & such but also you should have protection. I’d go for SPF 30. It allows you to get the right amount of sunlight without getting sun-burned.

2) Waterproof Mascara: is a MUST. You don’t want to have running black lines all over your face. Waterproof is your friend when it comes to humidity.  You should also try to maintain a natural look cause the combination of heat + humidity + makeup just doesn’t look good on anyone.

3) Sheer Coverage foundation: Your skin need to breathe. Do NOT use heavy coverage foundation in Humidity. You’ll end with a shiny oily looking face. Use something that’s powder-based not oil-based so it absorbs the extra water and oil from your face.

4) Daily facial wash & toner: You will need a strong cleanser for this kind of weather because all kinds of things can adhere to your face. A toner will help you have a better skin so you could minimize your use of makeup in such weather.

5) Try to go all natural for at least one day: as I already mentioned. Minimize your use of makeup as much as possible. Go without makeup all together for one day. Give your skin a break from the makeup you use all year long. What’s a better place to do that than a vacation spot when you’re already having too much fun to worry about looking perfect.
